The three terms in this year’s motto represent the three roles of cannabis that have been contested for years. „Healthy“ refers to cannabis as medicine—for chronic pain, sleep disorders, and other conditions. „Just“ targets socially equitable regulation that considers patients, producers, and consumers fairly. „Enjoyable“ stands for responsible recreational use, alongside education and consumption safety.
The distinction between medical and recreational use is currently a major flashpoint within the industry. Just days before the parade, over 100 cultivation associations demanded a clear separation between the two sectors. Why Reimbursement Cuts Are Central to This Year’s March
Nine days before the parade, a regulation took effect affecting tens of thousands of patients directly. The Bundestag removed cannabis flower from statutory health insurance reimbursement. Route and Schedule for Hemp Parade 2026
The gathering point is Alexanderplatz on Spandauer Straße at the Neptune Fountain. The opening rally runs from noon to 3 p.m., followed by the march itself.
