With a new project, the 187 Strassenbande opens another chapter in their creative evolution: together with producer Marry Jane and the platform Weed.de, a cannabis line is emerging that combines musical identity with modern plant culture.
For the artists, the project is fundamentally about authenticity and creative self-expression. Each member – including Bonez MC, Gzuz, LX, Maxwell, and Sa4 – brought personal experience and aesthetic influences into the strain development. The creations thus reflect what unites them on stage and in the studio: a certain sound, an attitude, a culture.
The flower is produced in certified indoor facilities in Switzerland. There, the strains are grown under pharmaceutical standards, hand-trimmed, slowly dried, and cured to preserve the terpene profiles. For LX, the step into the cannabis business felt long overdue.
„I think it’s time to enter the cannabis business because I’ve been dealing with people who consume cannabis daily for a very long time,“ he said. „I’m a big advocate of cannabis medicine in general.“
For Sa4, who speaks openly about his long relationship with cannabis, launching his own strain felt like a dream come true.
„It’s like a childhood dream that I think everyone had at some point – bringing your own weed to market.“
He added that it was a conscious decision to make the strains available as seeds for home growers as well.
